Broadcast Engineering Consultants India Limited (BECIL) is a public sector enterprise established by the government of India in the year 1995.The public sector company have been awarded mini ratna status and is fast becoming a reputed enterprise comparing to SAIL and BHEL.

Broadcast Engineering Consultants India Limited (BECIL) have now invited applications for the post of language monitors on the contract basis in the languages of :
1. Hindi
2. Assamese
3. Kannada
4. Tamil
5. Marathi
6. Telugu
7. Malayalam
8. Gujarati
9. Punjabi
10. Oriya
11. Bangle
12. Nepali
13. Bangla

The vacancies come to around 6 posts under each of the above language categories.

Qualifications required
1. A graduate degree in the language you are applying for. Your basic job would be to translate the news content of telecasts from the language to English. So you need to be well versed in the specific language and also in English.
2. Basic computer knowledge ( Microsoft office)
3. Minimum required typing speed will be 30 words per minute.

The above eligibilities are mandatory and along with that candidates with additional skills like experience in similar content creation agencies or news channels would be preferred. If you have a P.G.Diploma or bachelors degree in journalism you have a higher chance of landing with a job here.

Compensation
As per the norms you would be paid a consolidated monthly salary of 1 Rs. 10,000-15,000/-.
